WHAT IS PLAYER READY ALTERNATIVE PROVISION & EOTAS PROVISION?

Player Ready has six  locations and an online provision service. Our physical locations are located in Truro (Cornwall), Plymouth (Devon), Taunton (Somerset), Exeter (Devon), Weymouth (Dorset) and Portsmouth (Hampshire) plus a new ONLINE service!

We started as a Gaming & VR Centre in 2018. But in 2023 we launched our After-School Coding Clubs which make use of our venues, equipment and fantastic employees while entertainment is not in demand.

Player Ready Coding Clubs is an inclusive and welcoming environment and we aim for this to be a place where children and young people from all backgrounds can lean to produce code and games.

The venue based SEN / SEND, EOTAS & Alternative Provision is based on a day-time class and we will discuss each individuals needs and requirements. We can also engage online or as a mixed approach with young people working towards a goal agreed with partners and young person.

Player Ready will work with schools, NHS, local authorities social workers, youth workers, parents, carers and of course the young person to ensure a suitable placement. Our small groups and 1:1 Mentoring service is great for children & young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) and could be part of a package supporting the child or young person to thrive as part of an EHCP. Professionals should use the below referral form.

Alternative Provisions are £45+VAT per session AM or PM slots (clubs start from £20).

However the package will depend on the needs of the individual and arrangement.
