Your First Session
Is Completely Free
We know your child will love Player Ready. That's why we let every new student try a full session for free before you decide anything.
How It Works
Three simple steps. No forms, no fuss.
Pick a Venue
Choose from Plymouth, Exeter, Taunton, Truro, or Portsmouth. All venues run the same courses.
Choose a Session
Browse our upcoming sessions and find a day and time that works. After school or during holidays.
Turn Up & Code
That's it. Your child turns up, joins in, and gets stuck into a real coding project. We handle everything else.
What to Expect
Here's what happens when your child walks through the door.
A Warm Welcome
Our team will introduce themselves, show your child around, and make sure they feel comfortable before anything starts.
Hands-On Coding
No lectures. Your child will be building something within the first 15 minutes -- a Minecraft mod, a Roblox game, or a 3D model.
The Right Level
Complete beginner? Advanced coder? We assess where your child is and pitch the session at exactly the right level for them.
Fun First
It's a club, not a classroom. We teach through games kids already love. If they're having fun, the learning takes care of itself.
What to Bring
Spoiler: not much. We provide everything.
- +Your child -- that's the main thing
- +A drink and a snack if they want one
- +Any questions you have for our team
- -No laptop needed -- we provide all equipment
- -No experience needed -- total beginners welcome

Tax-Free Childcare & Vouchers
We're an Ofsted-registered childcare provider — so you can pay the tax-efficient way.
Because Player Ready is registered with Ofsted, our clubs qualify for the government's Tax-Free Childcare scheme and the major employer childcare voucher providers — which can take a meaningful chunk off the cost of membership. We accept:
Just tell your venue team you'd like to pay via Tax-Free Childcare or a voucher scheme and they'll share our provider details.
