Engaging Education Through Technology | 1:1 and Small Group Sessions | Online and In-Person

Empowering Learners Through Technology and Creativity

Player Ready Level-Up! Alternative Provision is a dynamic, tech-led educational programme designed to meet the needs of children and young people who thrive outside traditional classrooms. Whether accessing provision via EOTAS, EHCP, SEND pathways, or as part of Section 19 or PEX/At-Risk of NEET support, we create a safe, flexible, and engaging learning environment tailored to every learner’s needs.

We offer:

  • Online 1:1 sessions for students nationwide

  • In-Person 1:1 and Small Group Sessions at our regional venues

  • Hybrid delivery to accommodate health and accessibility needs

What We Offer

From coding and game development to STEM and creative arts, our sessions are immersive, project-based, and child-led—designed to build confidence, spark curiosity, and develop real-world skills.

Our current learning pathways include:

All sessions are mapped to individual learning outcomes and can support the goals outlined in EHCPs or education plans. From September 2024, students can also work towards Level 1–3 AQA Unit Awards in our bespoke subject areas.

Specialised Delivery Options

Hybrid Learning

Where appropriate, we can deliver our curriculum remotely using Zoom or Teams, combining the flexibility of home learning with the structure of a tutor-led programme. This is ideal for learners with medical needs, anxiety, or those transitioning back to in-person education.

Self-Funded SEND AP Groups

For self-funded families, we provide a generous discount to make the group sessions more affordable, this are often used be:

  • Elective Home Educators

  • Parents without funded support

  • Learners in transition between settings

They sit between our Clubs and full AP and are available across all venues.

Why Choose Player Ready?

We combine the power of play, creativity, and mentorship with clear educational outcomes. By embedding learning in technology that young people already love, we create space for growth, emotional wellbeing, and future-focused skills.

Whether your child is building their first Roblox game, animating a stop-motion short, engineering a robot, or designing a new virtual world—they’re not just learning, they’re thriving.

Local Authorities (Click Here for Full Listing)

As part of guidelines from the Department of Education (DfE) and OfSTED last year, Local Authorities (councils) have been tasked with bringing their Alternative Provision offering up to a higher standard which involves more robust Quality Assurance (QA). Player Ready is committed to this process since our launching our AP offering. It’s a long process depending on the particular Local Authority and their own timelines.

However we can still work with self-funding parents, direct referrals from Schools or via Direct Payments regardless of being listed on the Local Authority, so if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact our team.
