Virtual Reality (VR) & Augmented Reality In Education
Player Ready was established in 2018 and now have locations in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset & Hampshire which means we can now cover a huge amount of schools and colleges.
Bring your students to our locations in Truro, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Taunton or Weymouth for either fun activities during an enrichment week or just for an end of term treat. Our centres can be be used as team-building activities or just good fun!Â
However Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality Technology has an amazing place in enhancing your classroom teaching and this will grow as the technology expands.
Right now we can use our technology to:

- Explore 360 Video of Volcanoes and other Earth Science
- Relive sinking of the The Titantic
- Explore the Depths of the Ocean and Coral Reefs
- Explore Space with the amazing Apollo 11 Moon Landings
- Use Google Earth in VR to Explore our world and its amazing sites
- Learn Computer Coding with Minecraft Education in VR.Â
Virtual Reality can help History, Geography, Science, Arts, sports and music come alive!
We have active and passive experiences and our kit includes bringing 30 headsets (year thirty) so that an entire classroom can enter the virtual world at once.
Virtual Reality in schools doesn’t have to be all about education, it can be used for fun & fitness including our large Virtual Reality Laser Tag Experience.
We would also like to work with schools on a regular booking where we can help teach coding and virtual reality game creation so if you are interested in working with Player Ready then we would be happy to discuss this with you.
Our venues also offer a range of Minecraft Coding & Game Creation as well as STEM activities.These are run as after-school, daytime, holiday clubs and weekend classes.
