Player Ready:Level‑Up Alternative Provision in Birmingham
Flexible SEND Alternative Provision for Birmingham Learners (Ages 7–25+)
Player Ready delivers creative, high-engagement Alternative Provision for children and young people across Birmingham and the West Midlands who are not currently in school. Our team provides personalised EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) packages that support learners with complex needs, SEND diagnoses, or long-term absence from education.
With a focus on creativity, flexibility, and emotional safety, we help learners re-engage with education through tailored, interest-led provision — primarily delivered online by trauma-informed mentors.
Supporting Learners Across Birmingham
We specialise in working with learners who:
- Have EHCPs and require EOTAS packages
- Experience anxiety, PDA, trauma, or sensory processing needs
- Are currently out of school due to medical, emotional, or behavioural barriers
- Are transitioning from PRUs, hospital schools, or are awaiting placement
- Are Post-16 or 19–25+ and require supported pathways into adulthood
Our provision spans primary, secondary, and Post-16 stages — including support for older learners with EHCPs under Section 139a.
We work with families and professionals in Birmingham, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, West Bromwich and surrounding areas.
Ready for Commissioning — By Schools, LAs, and Families
Although we are not yet listed in Birmingham City Council’s official provider directories, we are fully ready to be commissioned by:
- Local Authority teams: Full approval packs are available, including safeguarding policies, insurance, DBS checks, Safer Recruitment evidence, and risk assessments.
- Schools: Commission directly for part-time, interim, or long-term provision.
- Parents and carers: Funded via personal budgets, direct payments, or private arrangement.
We welcome new partnerships and are happy to attend commissioning meetings with professionals and families.
