Player Ready:Level-Up Alternative Provision in Essex
Flexible SEND Alternative Provision for Essex Learners (Ages 7–25+)
Player Ready delivers creative, tech‑led Alternative Provision for children and young people across Essex who are not currently attending school. We offer personalised EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) packages that help learners with SEND, EHCPs, anxiety, or medical needs re‑engage through flexible online delivery.
Our trauma-informed mentors specialise in building confidence and digital skills through engaging, interest‑led sessions — ideal for learners who need emotional safety, consistent relationships, and non‑traditional education pathways.
Supporting Learners Across Essex
We work with families and schools across Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend‑on‑Sea, Basildon, Harlow, Clacton, Braintree and surrounding towns. Learners we support include those who:
- ✅ Have EHCPs requiring EOTAS provision
- ✅ Experience anxiety, trauma, PDA, or sensory needs
- ✅ Are medically unfit for school or long-term refusers
- ✅ Are transitioning from PRUs or waiting for school placement
- ✅ Are Post‑16 or aged 19–25+ with SEND and need pathways to adulthood
Commissioning Options
We are not yet listed in the Essex County Council provider directory, but we are actively supporting learners in the region and are ready to be commissioned by:
- Local Authority SEND teams
- Mainstream and specialist schools seeking part-time or interim provision
- Parents and carers using personal budgets or direct payments
We provide a full approval pack on request, including safeguarding policies, insurance, risk assessments, and Safer Recruitment documentation. We also attend virtual meetings to support decision‑makers and SENCo teams.
