Job Title: Partnerships & Growth Lead (Alternative Provision)
Location: Hybrid – work from home and from any Player Ready venue (Truro, Exeter, Taunton, Portsmouth, Plymouth)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 per annum + performance-based revenue share
Start Date: September 2025 (flexible)
Deadline: 18th August 2025
About the Role
Player Ready is a fast-growing Alternative Provision provider delivering creative, digital and tech-based education to neurodivergent children and young people aged 7–25. We work with families, schools, and local authorities across the UK — both online and in our specialist venues.
We’re looking for a relationship-led Sales and Partnerships professional to help us grow our reach. You’ll handle inbound referrals, strengthen our local authority links, support campaigns, and help optimise how we convert leads into lasting, meaningful provision.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on connection, organisation, and values-led growth. It’s not a hard-sell environment — your focus is long-term relationships, not fast conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond quickly to inbound referrals and new enquiries
- Build relationships with schools, local authorities, SEND professionals, and parent communities
- Work closely with venue teams and the online mentoring team to match CYPs to available provision
- Design and launch marketing campaigns (email, print, social, etc.) with our marketing team
- Attend events, trade shows, and network meetings to promote the service
- Optimise our HubSpot CRM pipelines and lead processes
- Support follow-ups after discovery sessions and ensure next steps are actioned
- Report monthly on performance, trends, and lead conversion metrics
Who You Are
You’re someone who leads with purpose and builds trust. You might come from:
Education, SEN or AP services
Sales or outreach roles in ethical sectors
Local authority or youth sector partnership work
Essential:
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
Experience working with CRMs (HubSpot preferred)
Organised, proactive and people-focused
Values-led — you’re here to help CYPs thrive
Able to work from home with regular visits to a Player Ready venue (at least weekly)
Desirable:
Experience in the AP or SEND sector
Understanding of EOTAS and LA-funded pathways
Marketing or campaign design experience
Familiarity with HubSpot automations and pipelines
What We Offer
- £30,000 annual salary (full-time)
- Performance bonus: See below.
- Hybrid working: home + in-venue (frequency flexible)
- Collaborative, mission-driven culture
- Training and support in safeguarding, HubSpot, and AP sector specifics
- Opportunity to shape a high-impact, fast-growing service
Performance Bonus
We offer a clear, ethical incentive scheme that rewards long-term impact — not hard selling.
Once you’ve helped us grow enough provision to cover your base salary, you’ll earn a share of the revenue you help generate, with bonuses linked to quality, sustained placements. This bonus starts only when young people are successfully enrolled and supported beyond their initial sessions.
Many successful placements continue for many weeks / terms or even several school years – meaning your earnings can grow alongside the lives you help change.
We’ll explain the full bonus structure during the recruitment process.
Safeguarding & Legal

- Enhanced DBS
- References
- Right to Work checks
- Safeguarding and Prevent training
