Player Ready:Level‑Up Alternative Provision in Manchester
Flexible SEND Alternative Provision for Manchester Learners (Ages 7–25+)
Player Ready delivers creative, high‑engagement Alternative Provision for children and young people across Manchester who are not currently in school. Our team provides personalised EOTAS packages that support learners with complex needs, SEND diagnoses, or long‑term absence from education.
Serving communities from Wythenshawe, Didsbury, Chorlton and Hulme to Gorton and Cheetham Hill, we focus on engagement, flexibility, and emotional safety to help learners re‑engage with education through tailored, interest‑led provision — delivered online or in person.
Supporting Learners Across Manchester
- Have EHCPs and require EOTAS packages
- Experience anxiety, PDA, trauma, or sensory processing needs
- Are currently out of school due to medical, emotional, or behavioural reasons
- Are transitioning from PRUs, hospital schools, or awaiting placement
- Are Post‑16 or 19‑25+ and require supported pathways into adulthood
Our provision spans primary, secondary, and Post‑16, including support for older learners with EHCPs under Section 139a (up to age 25+).
Ready for Commissioning — By Schools, LA Teams, and Parents
Although we are not yet listed as a pre‑approved provider in Manchester directories, we are fully ready to be commissioned by:
- Local Authority teams: Approval packs with Safeguarding, Safer Recruitment, DBS, insurance, policies, and risk assessments.
- Schools: Direct commissioning for part‑time, interim, or full EOTAS support.
- Parents and carers: Funding via personal budgets, direct payments, or private arrangements.
We welcome the opportunity to work with new schools and LA officers. All documentation is provided promptly and we attend introduction meetings as needed.
Online and In‑Venue Delivery
Sessions are delivered by trauma‑informed, DBS‑checked mentors either:
- Online (1:1 or small groups)
- In‑person at select Manchester venues or through outreach visits (by arrangement)
Learners are matched with the right mentor and curriculum, with consistent progress tracking, half‑termly reports, and safeguarding oversight.
