Player Ready has five venue locations which offer Alternative Provision and “after-school & holiday” Coding Clubs.
Plus a new ONLINE 1:1 Alternative Provision Service.

Our physical locations which offer Alternative Provision are located in Truro (Cornwall), Plymouth (Devon), Taunton (Somerset), Exeter (Devon) and Portsmouth (Hampshire).

About Us

Player Ready started as a Gaming & VR Centre in 2018. But in 2023 we launched our Weekend & After-School Coding Clubs which make use of our venues, equipment and fantastic employees while entertainment is not in demand. 

Player Ready Coding Clubs is an inclusive and welcoming environment and we aim for this to be a place where children and young people from all backgrounds can lean to produce code and games.

However we also understand that some Children & Young People with SEN / SEND needs require more specialised support and a more relaxed environment.

However not all Children & Young People with SEND can access funding or need to access Alternative Provision and can attend our After-School, Weekend & Holiday Provisions!

Elective Home Education (EHE)

If Elective Home Educating (aka home schooling) even with an EHCP LA funding is normally* not accessible or some parents just wish to pay for for extra activities to support their Child’s learning and development. 

Player Ready AP-Lite

AP-LITE is positioned between our Coding Clubs & Alternative Provision offering
Two Hour Slots
Maximum of SIX young people with 3:1 (CYP:MENTOR)
AP-Lite Alternative Provisions are £45 per two hour session (“clubs” start from just £20).

Block Java Coding using our in-house Minecraft Course which is fun and engaging

Robotics & STEM using VEX Robotics Kits

Video Editing & Stop Animation

Basic Computer skills such as “Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc”

Digital Safety

Other curriculum topics using Minecraft Education such as History, Science, Geography, STEM, IT including Cyber Security
