Who Are We? Player Ready is a Somerset Council Approved / Assured Alternative Provision. But we are also your go-to destination in Somerset for inclusive, venue-based Coding, Gaming & Minecraft Clubs, designed for children and young people aged 7-17. Our clubs are not just about learning; they’re about exploring, socialising, teamwork, coding, creating and belonging.

• Specialised Support: As an Somerset Council Approved Alternative Provision we are catering to the needs of Children & Young people with SEN, SEND, SEMH, EOTAS, Elective Home Educated. We offer both “AP-Lite” &  alternative provision, especially for EHCP plans in Taunton, Somerset.

How does the Club run?

All clubs have an element of group activities, free-time (Consoles & VR available) plus coding, the length and schedules will vary depending on the particular class. The amount of heads down coding will vary.

As a child-led service is somewhat depending on the learners age and abilities, taking into account any SEND. Please discuss with the mentors any specific goals for your child, the first 1/2 term of attendance should be viewed as settling into the club, making friends and learning the basics.

PAYMENTS

Weekly:

Initial payment of 2 weeks i.e. £40.00 followed by weekly payments i.e. £20.00 per week by cash/card, Direct Debit* or bank transfer. The initial payment covers your final week when you leave coding club, so you aren’t paying anything extra or covers any missed sessions!!

Monthly: 

£80.00 per month can be paid by cash, card or Direct Debit
Direct Debit/Card Payment monthly membership includes access to ReadyCraft as a bonus!

Bulk Payment:
Many parents opt to pay for the entire term (or 1/2 term) upfront via our booking portal, in-store or via bank transfer we very much appreciate that as it is helping us with cashflow as we expand the number of stores.

Payment Methods:
The new booking platform “Pembee” gives you the easy option to pay by most major debit & credit cards when booking. 

You can pay upfront or signup for a monthly subscription to spread the payments and benefit from auto-rollover, ReadyCraft and Exclusive Discounts. You also won’t miss out on a place on the next term! Very important for our busiest Clubs which often sell-out.

Other options  shown during checkout you can also opt to pay by Bank Transfer and details will be shown.  

In-Store we also accept most major cards and cash payment which can be for weekly, monthly or term payments.
